So i woke up a tad late today and wanted to cook something (i rarely do). So i went online to search for something relatively easy to make that will taste nice.
I came onto a recipy for bbq pork buns. I headed to the local shopping center and purchased the ingrediants i didnt have.
Here is a pic of most of the ingridiants, some are missing cause i couldnt be bothered getting it out just to take the photo lol.

First thing first was to mix the dough. I stupidly poured the water/oilstraight in forgetting to pour it in slowly as needed. The end result is....

Bah so i will have only 8 servings not 10. Warning don't wear black shorts while playing with flour!

As we wait for the dough to rise i have chopped up the BBQ pork i bought.
Here is me stir frying said pork squares.

That spoon? i was using is stuffed now lol. Its got the sauce baked onto it. Hopefully if i leave it in detergent for a bit i will be able to clean it lol. Here is the end product ready to be put into the buns.
Will report back soon with the end product hopefully :)

I picked up a Samsung i900 on Tuesday from a store in Campsie. I was a little hesitant buying it as the box had already been opened but saw there was no damage to the phone so i bought it.
I got it home and it finally struck me how non user friendly a mobile based on winmobile is. I went online and found most people were using SPB Mobile Shell. I went to their site and forked out $30 USD for it and another $29 for a good movie/music player.

I am still playing around with it and should have a full review once i am familiar with everything.

I have a mango tree at my house. My dad parks his camery underneath it. For the last few months the tree has been dropping its flowers and stems on to it. It is pissing me off as there is always a crap load of mess on the car.
Today i had a look and saw that there was a mass amount of mango "pods" on top of the tree. Enjoy the pics as god knows i hate cleaning up the mess :)

I had to send some money overseas in US dollars on Friday. I used my newly created ST George account to send it. The person that was supposed to receive it still hasn't got it today. Lo and behold i get a call from the bank informing me the other bank could not "fund the account". I went down to the branch to be told that the bank has insufficient information for the receiving bank to process to the correct account. I told them i had done this multiple times using my Commonwealth account without any problems and with the same information. They couldn't get any more info so i thought it would be best to just cancel it.
Then the teller informs me that i will need to pay $32 in fees from St George, then whatever fees the receiving bank charges to send that money back to me, then i will get the US dollars exchanged into AU dollars.
So all in all i have paid $30 to send the money at a crappy exchange rate, paid $32 plus other banks charges to cancel the transfer then will get hit with a crappier exchange rate when i get it back.
I run so good with exchange rates!

Today was the most frantic and frustrating day i have had in a long time.
My mum's friend brought a laptop to fix but its keyboard has a issue. The same friend wanted me to try to salvage 2 comps into 1. I had a look but didn't think I could get a working computer out of it. So in all my wisdom i used one of my old pcs to build a working one for them. Took me about 3 hours to get everything from the Chinese writing software to office. I updated it to service pack 3 then the computer wouldn't turn on properly. Tried everything but it was freezing at random points in the boot process. So i try a 2nd computer i have this time everything is fine except their is no sound. I try to install the drivers for it but the comp restarts for no reason. After about 5-6 hours spent trying to fix it i couldn't be bothered anymore. At the end of the day i will just give them a old working laptop i bought a few years ago to save me the hassle of trying to fix these old pcs/laptop.
Another problem arose yesterday where the immobiliser for the car broke. I didn't think the car would start without it so i called the local car service center. I took the car down for them to have a look at. They said if i wanted a new immobiliser system it would be $350 but it should be fine without it.
After realising i just wasted 1 hour waiting for this diagnosis I went to pick up the treadmill i won on ebay a few days ago.
I pay my money at the office and was directed to the warehouse. When the guy brought out the box i was horrified to see its size. Although it was listed on the ebay listing it didn't seem so big. I called my mum and she in turn called her friend to come over. Her friend arrived a hour later in their 4 wheel drive. It took a few goes but we got the 102KG box in.
So here is the end product. Enjoy! (Sorry about the mess

Today my mate James wanted to have lunch in Hurstville.
We dinned at a place called Miss Saigon and I had a beef loin stir fry and rice while James had a rice and pork dish. All in all it was a enjoyable feed and it was nice catching up with James who I haven't seen for a while.
After lunch I went to buy some shoes. I went to athletes foot to pick up a pair of Brooks runners. The guy that helped me pick the shoe was very helpful and very informative. I did the whole feet imaging thing and decided on Brooks Beast a range of shoe just above the Brooks Advantage range.

It cost $240.
I also needed a new pair of thongs so i bought these on the way home.

I'm stealing this idea from Andy's blog (www.eurekakid.com).
For the month of November I have set the following goals.
1. Drink at least 1.5L of water a day.
2. Exercise for at least 1 hour a day (10k steps a day).
3. Eating at most 1 take away a week.
4. Eat healthier.
5. Give up my vices for a month.
I have been pretty good although some of my goals have caused me some hassles. I am very slack at drinking the 1.5L of water a day. I always end up sculling it just before bed and it makes me get up several times a night lol
.
I will let you know how I go next month!

I'm still in bed this morning and my brother brings me a package. I have a look and find out its the pedometers that I ordered on Friday. I initially ordered one through their website but then called their support line to see if they can change my order to 2 pedometers. The staff at www.pedometeraustralia.com was more than helpful.
Here are some pics:

It was very nice of the staff to actually send me a personalised card thanking me for my order. A little appriciation of customers can go a long way!
Thanks again to the staff at Pedometers Australia!

I was discussing bets with my mate Xavier yesterday. He suggested putting a trifecta. A trifecta bet is where you pick the winner, 2nd place and 3rd place runners. I was using a sports book that doesn't have that option so I didn't do it.
Today after a short nap i woke up to find that out of the 10 i picked the first 4 horses.
They paid:
1. Viewed $41.00
2. Bauer $21.00
3. C'est La Guerre$10.50
4. Master O'Reilly $26.00
Darn the odds went up since yesterday on viewed. My $5 bet only won $150 not $205 at today's odds. Xavier told me If i had gone with the trifecta i would have won $,1000 and if i had gone for the first 4 i would have made $5,000. Darn
Also if you guys check out the comments left on yesterdays blog, you will see a comment from my mate Emmy saying how lucky I always am. I am glad I can continue to reflect that "luckbox" image.
