I have been after a TV for a while now. I have gone to the shops but have procrastinated over which tv to get.
I finally had enough of my old TV and went to buy one today. It cost me $1250 but am very happy with it. I bought the Samsung LA32A650A1 32" LCD TV.

The TV is very clear due to the in built HD tuner. I just Love it!!!!

I have purchased crystal film set (screen protector), iklear (cleaning the iphone) and Skin Solo back protector (well 3 lol).

The white one was opened already and seemed to have been used previously. I have emailed the US suppliers and they have agreed to send me a replacement.
All in all i am very happy with the setup i have :)

I forgot to blog about my newly purchased 16GB iphone 3G. There was a lot of drama surrounding this purchase.
I initially got the phone from All Phones. Once i got it home i found some issues with the black "trench" on the phone. It seemed like the glue had pushed the lining up, basically a defect. I took the phone back to All Phones, who directed me to Apple. I went to Apple and was directed back to All Phones because technically there wasn't anything wrong with it.
I went back and forth between the 2 and finally i got it replaced at Apple. Once i saw the replacement phone, i saw there were small white specs on it. I asked the person at the "genius bar" to remove it (They have a plastic tool to do that). The stupid girl used a stanley knife instead. Before i could tell her to stop she had created 2 lines in the chrome.
I was really at the end of my teather at this point and didnt want to wait around for her to stuff up another one.

Today my mate James wanted to have lunch in Hurstville.
We dinned at a place called Miss Saigon and I had a beef loin stir fry and rice while James had a rice and pork dish. All in all it was a enjoyable feed and it was nice catching up with James who I haven't seen for a while.
After lunch I went to buy some shoes. I went to athletes foot to pick up a pair of Brooks runners. The guy that helped me pick the shoe was very helpful and very informative. I did the whole feet imaging thing and decided on Brooks Beast a range of shoe just above the Brooks Advantage range.

It cost $240.
I also needed a new pair of thongs so i bought these on the way home.

I'm still in bed this morning and my brother brings me a package. I have a look and find out its the pedometers that I ordered on Friday. I initially ordered one through their website but then called their support line to see if they can change my order to 2 pedometers. The staff at www.pedometeraustralia.com was more than helpful.
Here are some pics:

It was very nice of the staff to actually send me a personalised card thanking me for my order. A little appriciation of customers can go a long way!
Thanks again to the staff at Pedometers Australia!

So I had seen some reviews of Fall out 3 and it looked pretty good. Seeing as I had purchased a new gaming PC this would be a great time to put it through its paces.
I initially wanted to get the game from Kmart as my brother told me it was for $79.95 as apposed to the $99.95 at other stores. Obviously when I get there is none left.
So I wander over to EB. They had none on display but had some in the back. I asked the guy what was in the collectors edition. After a long while he still couldn't give me a answer. Then it stuck me I had a game card from Games Wizzard. I told the guy to hold the collectors edition for me and headed to GW (He was only holding it for 15 minutes for me).
When I got there I came to my senses and even though I am paying $20 more than I initially wanted to buy it at, I wasn't stupid enough to pay another $20 on top of that for a tin box. So I just bought the normal game. Just as the chick at the counter gave me the game her manager asked me am I over 15. A new low point in my life being asked if I was 15 when im 22 LOL
.
Anyways I head off to buy some mince for my parents then head to Office Works to get a new 1TB hard drive for my brother. Seeing as it was a special when I get there, there isn't any left. I just love the bait and switch tactics these stores use.
Just got the game install going, here are some pics. Enjoy!

A 2008 film based on the real life story of George Hogg. He was a amateur British journalist trying to cover the Japanese invasion of China in the 1930's.

After sneaking into China disguised as a Red Cross driver, George (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) finds himself witnessing atrocities by the invaliding Japs.
He is saved by Chen (Yun-Fat Chow) and meets Lee (Radha Mitchell) a Australian nurse helping the Chinese resistance movement.
There the plot takes a turn as he is sent to Huang Shi.
All in all, a good story with good character interaction (though the story of the main rebellious child Liu should have been explored more) and realistic 1930's depiction.

A 2008 movie about a American couple traveling from Beijing to Moscow via the Trans Siberian rail line.

The plot line for this movie is very thin at best. The main characters Roy (Woody Harrelson) and Emily (Kate Mara) get into a spot of trouble with the Russian "authorities" after discovering they have been traveling with some drug smugglers the day before.
I wont give away too much but lets just say that the writers did a very bad job. Seems like what they did was get 4-5 different plots from different movies then sticky tape them together hoping for a good script. There is no cohesiveness to the story line and no real feel of a thriller movie.
All in all, i would not recommend people watch the movie.
